A joint project with Wachtelland

Thanks to a successful fundraising campaign, in collaboration with Wachtelland, we have been able to make a significant contribution to species conservation.

Two of our high-quality incubators, with a combined value of over €8,000, have been donated to the Great Bustard project in Brandenburg.

These specialised units enable future generations of great bustards to be hatched under controlled conditions and subsequently released into the wild. This actively contributes to the conservation of this impressive and now rare bird species.

Great bustards are among the heaviest flight-capable birds in the world and are critically endangered in Germany – making targeted measures to protect and stabilise the population all the more important.

We are delighted that our support is making a tangible contribution to the survival of these fascinating animals.

Particularly exciting: a visit to the site is already being planned. This will give us the opportunity to see our incubators in action and learn more about the valuable work of the project.

Together, we are setting an example for sustainable species conservation and the preservation of our native wildlife.
